Pulled myself out of bed this morning at a halfway decent hour. I didn’t get to bed till 1:30 am – once again chiding myself on how late it was. Forced myself to eat a bowl of cereal, wait twenty minutes and then go walk the bridge.
The bridge ends are adorned with very pretty Firecracker plants, Azalea bushes, and, of course, Palm trees. I love the brightness of the combination, seems so cheery. With temps up in the 90’s, I walked myself over and back. Took my camera with me to take a few pictures of the Bay. Would have taken the digital one but the charger is broken.
Drenched in sweat, literally, I made it back to my nice air conditioned car. Funny how there wasn’t a cloud in the sky but now, less then twenty minutes later, it is overcast. I imagine we are in for some more rain – hope we get a lot.
So this is the start of my first day back to work. I can cheerfully get through the next four days though because then I am off for 11 days straight! Hallelujah!!
