It is Monday and I must go to work here shortly. It is another HOT day here – went out earlier and couldn’t believe how hot it was. Seems unfair that up North they are getting the cooler weather already. But I know that we have more beautiful temperatures down here year round – especially during the winters up there – so it is worth it.
Went to the Van Wezel side of the Bay today. I don’t like it here as well as over by the bridge simply because there are too many trees and you are too far from the water’s edge. But I was pressed for time.
Way out in front of me I could see silver fish jumping up out of the water – probably a shark preying on them from below. They jump out of the water to avoid being lunch to the hungry beasts it shares the water with – only to end up being caught in the mighty beaks of the seagulls.
Man, I’m so exhausted. Was up and around for about three hours and then had to go back to bed for about an hour. I was falling asleep in my chair at the computer. Hate always being so tired. Even now, an hour later from taking the nap, I know if I laid down I’d be out like a light again. My body has nights and days messed up, I guess.
