I had heard, and mentioned before, that I was being passed over for training in the fire pod. I was told today that it is true and that the only way I could go according to seniority is if I transfer to nights. Told them I had no problem waiting.
I’m on evenings and they have people waiting to learn fire since 2003 so it could be awhile for me. Doesn’t break my heart at all.
Of course, I can’t be promoted until I get the training so it is a double edged sword.
