Choppy waters greeted me when I finally made my way down to the Bay today. We have been under a marine warning now for almost a week. There are a few motorized sightseeing boats out but not much else. I have to remind myself that this is a workday and most people are stuck behind desks or working out in this heat.
To my right a woman in a bikini talks on her cell phone while throwing a toy out in the water for her huge pit bull to retrieve. Even as strong as he is, he struggles a little if she tosses it out too far.
The lunch crowd is arriving – means it is about time for me to go back home. Clouds from the mainland are moving west out over the water – their decent clip pays tribute to the stiff breeze we have going.
