After visiting with my counselor this morning, I went out to the beach. The surface was as smooth as glass. It was a deep teal color which was only broken up by the occasional sailboat in the distance. With the purple flag flying, no one was getting in the water. I’m sure the “dangerous” marine life was probably jelly fish but everyone else was looking for shark fins. They made me laugh the way they were so afraid of even being in it ankle deep.
After the beach, I went over to visit the bay. Other then the tour boat, it was virtually void of anyone out there enjoying the water. About 150 white buoys dotted the area – lobster traps someone set out. They are very limited on when the traps are allowed so imagine they wanted to make the most of the time they had. A few dolphins were using the buoys as an obstacle course, swimming around them in a pattern only they could understand.
Well, I need to pack for my trip tomorrow so guess my relaxing time is over and I need to figure out what I need to pack. Hope everyone has a good day!
