Well, my first day back to work was damn busy. I hardly had time to think between calls – I hate that. I tried to start a book but realized after a couple hours that the atmosphere wasn’t conducive to doing so.
I was exhausted by the end of the 8 hr shift. They actually asked me to work another 2 but I told them I just couldn’t – don’t see any reason to burn myself out right away. Have 4 more to work tomorrow so 2 more, though doesn’t sound like a lot, would have made me stressed for the coming week.
I have a new idea for a story which I can’t wait to start on but am too tired to do so tonight. I have a lot of research to do on this one though if I’m going to make it believable…or semi-believable.
So anyway, vacation was nice but it is also nice to get back into a routine. Hope everyone had a fabulous Friday – I didn’t get any emails all day so wonder if the system is working correctly??
