Well, I’m on my last day off and back to work tomorrow for a 12 hr day.
Today I went to visit with Susan who agreed with me that I need to move back to Iowa as soon as possible. I’m hoping my income tax money – plus that week’s paycheck – will be enough to move. But I have no idea how much I will get back, if anything so no point counting on it yet.
I was looking at jobs online today and really don’t think I’ll have any trouble finding one when I get up to Iowa. So the real question is where I will live. I’m thinking my sister and my son can help me find an apartment or duplex to rent until I get on my feet. I wouldn’t mind living in WL for a year if that is cheap rent.
After meeting with Susan, I went to the paw park with Baxter who had a grand old time running around wearing himself totally out. I finally had to make him leave because he was taking breaks in the shade every few minutes which is a tell tale sign that he is overheating.
I wrote two posts – one very long one even – but forgot to bring them into the library with me. I got a computer right away so didn’t want to take the time to run back to the parking lot.
If the computer gives me more time now, then maybe I’ll recreate the long one from memory. Right now I’m almost out of time so will post this one and get on with my email writing.
