Was scheduled to work 4 hrs OT today. I almost called in to see if they really needed me…almost. I got there and they asked if someone wanted to go home. There were four of us who could go home but the others wanted the OT – I said absolutely I’d go home.
The thing is – when walking Baxter this morning I started feeling sick. It took us an hour to walk 1 1/2 miles because I couldn’t seem to get moving – my hips hurt and I felt dizzy. Got home and went back to bed – waking up in time to go to work. I’m not dizzy anymore but my hips still hurt and I feel so drained. Yes, I stayed up two nights in a row past 3 am…maybe that has something to do with it?
So while I should have worked for the money – I didn’t feel like it and was so thankful when they sent me home. I know that makes me sound lazy but I think it is more that the pressure of moving is starting to stress me out more then my system can handle.
