Hiya,

I've just done a shark feed dive off of Fiji's main island, Viti Levu. I think it ticks all your boxes: wetsuits, 24m depth max, and mostly watching the sharks from afar, although they do take you in one by one to touch nurse sharks : ) The guy running the Aquatrek operation there, Brendon, is a shark fanatic and very experienced at dealing with sharks - he knows them all by name in the lagoon.
I felt very safe during the entire dive and got to see lots of reef sharks, nurse sharks, bull sharks, and even a tiger shark.
The feeding occurs a bit further away from where you are - you can still see (well despite the thousands of fish) but there is no mistaking you for food...
I'm not saying you'd be seeing natural behaviour - far from that, they're being fed. But still a very interesting and incredible experience, and I do believe it's a better local income than the sharks being caught for their fins...
Check it out on my blog:

(there's a link for pictures at the bottom too)

Hope you can get to that corner of the world one day! Good luck!

Diving with sharks is NOT on my "want list", but when are people going to be responsible for their own actions. If this is what a person wants to do, he/she knows the danger, and should be allowed to do it. These companies should not be shut down because of one death. Everyone faces death every day from one thing or another. If that's what you want to do, go for it.
