Stuff to clog my mind
Took the boys out for their nightly walk at midnight. The breeze was stronger than I had thought it would be, probably because the building shelters my apartment from the direction it was coming so it looked calm when I glanced out. I hadn’t thought to grab my gloves but I had grabbed the band that keeps my ears sheltered so that was good. My jacket is long enough that I can pull it down over both my hands and the leash handles.
Tomorrow I am going to get up relatively early to shampoo my living room carpet right after I go get the oil changed and new tires for my car. I need to get a few groceries after I pick up my son tomorrow. I will probably pick him and Beth up, take her to her car and him home, go find some things to do and then pick him back up for soup and coffee before dropping him off at work.
I ordered his two Christmas presents today – I’m not sure if I will get him a third or not because I usually give him money too. Neither present was overly expensive so I might get him one more plus money. I want presents under the Christmas Tree this year!
Looked at tables at Stuff, Inc but didn’t find one I liked. I found one that would work but it didn’t come with chairs and I really wanted to get a whole set. I will look tomorrow at the Stuff, Inc in Iowa City and also at Houseworks. Is it just me or has Stuff, Inc really gone downhill? The place was filthy, half the stuff was junk (broken and badly scratched up) that should have gone to a dumpster. Really, it was awful and I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
